Dr. James M. Stevens
Welcome!

SPECIAL NEWS!! I recently returned from visiting Korea in January for the SUNMIN MUSIC 2008 CHURCH MUSIC EXPLOSION. South Korea is an amazing country and my experience with SUNMIN MUSIC was incredible.

Welcome to my web site! This has been created for my friends, those interested in my music, or those interested in finding out more about the FWBBC Music Department. I hope it will be helpful for those who want more information about my music compositions, my piano books or other musical items. Please let me know what you think and check back as I will be updating frequently.

My family resides in Nashville, TN where I am the Chairman of the Music Department at Free Will Baptist Bible College . If you would like more information about the college or are interested in attending FWBBC, I would love to hear from you. The FWBBC Online Video is a great way to introduce yourself to Free Will Baptist Bible College.

BTW, my family attends church at Rejoice Free Will Baptist Church in Antioch, TN where Cliff Donoho is pastor. If you are looking for a church home or passing through, come visit us. Currently, I am acting as the Interim Minister of Music at First Baptist Church, Lebanon, TN while they are in search for a full time Minister of Music.

The song that Joseph M. Martin and I wrote, "Without Love... We Have Nothing," continues to be an international sensation with more than 190 different CDs containing it being recorded already. It is now being sold and exported all over the world in virtually every musical format. Mr. Jang W. Choi is now exclusively representing our "Without Love" in South Korea.

Each season we have exciting concerts that are a part of the Sarah Lacey Nicholas series. In October 12, 2004, Dr. Ron Boud gave a concert to dedicate our new Rodgers organ. On December 1, 2006, Mr. David Hahn led the Choral Union chorus and orchestra in an exciting performance that featured the Christmas portion from Handel's Messiah. This concert is known as Christmas on Richland Avenue. In the spring of 2005, the Music Department presented "Annie Get Your Gun" and last spring there was an enchanting performance of "Cinderella." In the spring of 2008 the Music Department will present MEET ME IN SAINT LOUIS under the direction of Mr. Mark Lancaster and accompanied by Mrs. Carol Butler.

Thank you for visiting my web site. May God richly bless you!.

Sincerely, James M. "Jimbo" Stevens
